In the past few weeks, the Embassy of China and Nawaloka Hospital had full communication and reached important consensus on the PCR and IgM antibody tests. Nawaloka Hospital has decided to implement new testing method for the passengers going to China after assessing the Chinese Technical Guidelines for COVID-19 Laboratory testing.
In this regard, Embassy of the people's Republic of China in Sri Lanka has resumed the cooperation with Nawaloka hospital from 2nd of August,2021. The Embassy of China would like to suggest that the Chinese and foreign passengers going to China can choose Nawaloka Hospital as the first-choice designated hospital for PCR and IgM antibody tests .
The Embassy of China is looking forwarding to see the other Hospitals can make adjustment on the testing method for the passengers going to China.The Embassy will update the list of designated hospitals for PCR and IgM antibody tests according to the quality of testing of each hospital.
