|Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei Visits Malaysia|
Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wu Dawei headed a delegation to visit Malaysia from December 2 to 4, 2007. During his visit, Wu met with Malaysian Foreign Minister Datuk Seri SYED Hamid Albar and held the 11th round of diplomatic consultation between the two countries with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
Both sides exchanged views on bilateral ties, as well as international and regional issues of common concern and reached broad consensus. They expressed satisfaction with the all-round development that China-Malaysia ties have achieved in recent years, agreeing to make joint efforts to push for further development of cooperation in all areas.
Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Cheng Yonghua attended the meeting and the consultation.
